Do you have a a child that is 3 or 4 years old? The Head Start program operates pre-school programs throughout the county, including one right at Greenfield Elementary School.
To qualify, your family’s income must be less than the federal poverty level or receive food stamps or receive SNAP, TANF or SSI assistance. All foster care children and homeless children also qualify.
Some highlights of the program include:
- Children receive free breakfast and lunch daily.
- Children receive medical, dental and developmental screenings
- Families gain access to other LifeWorks programs and resources, including adult education workshops and more.
